My Busy-Ness

2011 is busy ......

12 April 2011
It's busy with work related pursuits, judging Emmy Award nominated works, planning my trip to the Emmy Awards in June, completing the edits of The Accident and some talk show segments, bouncing between Chicago and Texas and working on my art... Breathe... I'm submitting some screenplays and completed works to film festivals and working on the PSA's in the Help for the Homeless campaign.

I am an Official Blue-Ribbon Judge for the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards. This is so exciting because the shows have all stepped their game up to the nth degree. This will be very interesting!

Wrote, produced and directed three episodes of this new profile show series.

LeAnn Rimes performance for injured veterans.
Was a Video Assistant on this event a week before grad classes started.

Help for the Homeless
Launched a new social responsibility project. Writer, producer, director of a series of ten public service announcements (PSA's) to be licensed, free of charge, to nonprofits that work to help the homeless. (They will use the PSA's to help raise funds).

SXSW
Selected as one of several Videographers for convention workshop panels.

NCAA Final Four
Will work behind the scenes with the production teams and near the sports stage.

Was asked to help promote this upcoming workshop which I happened to have attended years ago.

Bayou City Art Festival
Volunteer, helping artists. (Great opportunity for ideas for my own artwork)

Dallas International Film Festival called to see if I could help out during the festival. We'll see....

Oh yes.... there's school too!
